October 9, 2024- Ratan Tata, the iconic Chairman of Ci-devant of Tata Sons, passed away at 86 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The veteran industrialist and philanthropist was admitted to the hospital after experiencing a sudden drop in blood pressure and was later shifted to the intensive care unit due to a deterioration in his health.

Two days prior, Tata reassured the public about his health, stating that his ongoing check-ups were routine and related to age. However, his condition took a turn for the worse, and he sadly succumbed to his health issues.

Tata’s legacy is profound, having led the Tata Group from 1991 to 2012 and expanding its footprint in telecommunications and IT. He founded Tata Teleservices in 1996 and took Tata Consultancy Services public in 2004, cementing his impact on India’s business landscape.
